Can I put my client in contact with Hiscox directly?
Many customers have taken their insurance out via a broker in order to benefit from the experience and support that you are able to provide, and there is no time where this is needed more than at a time of loss - when the processes are unfamiliar to most clients. However, if you feel it is more appropriate, you can put your client in contact with us directly.
What if the matter has been ongoing for a while but my client has only just informed me?
Please notify us as soon as possible and provide all relevant information.
What other additional information is useful?
In addition to those points mentioned in the ‘ What you need to make a claim’ section, any background information you have access to is always useful for us to help build a solid understanding of the incident.
