What it covers

  • when an award for damages falls within the insured contractual cap
  • where a governmental client makes acceptance of such damages a contractual precondition
  • where the insured breaches an express contractual provision through a disclosure of confidential information
  • where software, hardware, firmware or related services breach an IP warranty
• covers breaches of an IP warranty, a warranty of quality, a warranty of reasonable care and skill, or a warranty of material conformance to written specification
• covers all types of negligence including negligence related to security failures and virus transmission
• provides coverage for your client’s own advertising
• covers all intellectual property breaches (other than patent or trade secrets) without any sub limits.
